MAC Ellie Goulding Collection!
MAC collaborated with Ellie Goulding to bring out a whole new collection, this was released Mid-December 2015. The collection was a range of pinks, corals and nudes which are the colours Ellie uses most in her signature looks. For me these colours are ideal as these are my go to colours when I do my make up. The packaging for this line in my opinion I love it, it's so simple ad classy with the black background with rose gold detailing - this is the same for the boxes it has a rose gold inside which is a nice touch. The products I purchased from this line are;
Powder Blush in I'll Hold My Breath - this combines two products one being a bronzer and the other a blush, the bronzer is a lovely warm-toned with flecks of gold shimmer in it. The shade reminds me of Laguna by NARS. I have quite fair skin and it works amazingly making sure I don't look too orange which I often have a problem with when it comes to bronzers. The blush in this is a peachy pink pearl with has a lovely shine to it, giving the skin a nice glow. The blush and bronzer work really nice with each other by complimenting the skin lovely.You can either lightly apply this or you can build it up nicely, these colours will work on all different types of skin tones. The finish of the bronzer is matte and the finish of the blush is satin, these also feel amazing and creamy when you're applying.
Plushglass in Explosion - this is a clear gloss which has gold flecks of glitter in it giving it an amazing finish, in some products which have glitter in them you can't really tell but in this you can definitely see the glitter! You can wear this on it's own or over a lipstick. It is creamy when applied and lasts for a while unless of course you're eating it will come off slowly but this can easily be topped up. This is the perfect subtle shade for an everyday look or even to be used for a night time look for the glitter.
PatentPolish Lip Pencil in Innocent - I have never used one of the PatentPolish lip pencils before so decided I would give it a go with a nude, and I was definitely happy I did! They are super creamy and give a lot of colour pay off on the lips depending on the finish you want from this. But from just applying one coat you get an amazing colour from it. The finish you get from this is a lovely shine so this could be applied over a lipstick if you wanted to either lighten the middle of your lips or add an overall gloss. There was another colour which she did bring out but it was a coral and I don't think I would have worn that one as much as I would wear this. Innocent has a everyday vibe to it which is ideal if you don't want to go overboard with make up but want to put a little on.
Cremesheen Lipstick in Without Your Love - just your typical MAC lipstick really however they have added a lot more detail to it, you can see this in the picture I have attached. They went and added the logo for this collection onto the lipstick which is amazing but doesn't make me want to wear it because it looks stunning! I went for the lighter pink over the coral as like I have mentioned before I tend to go for these colours and they work with my skin tone. I have yet to try it but I think that Explosion would look amazing over the top of this lipstick to give it that extra added sparkle. Both lipsticks in this collection have a Cremesheen finish which is one of my favourite finishes by MAC as it leaves my lips feeling super moisturised and soft during the day.
Overall I really like this collection, if I was to bring out my own collection with MAC it would definitely be along the lines of this. I still think you can get a few items of Ellie's collection but I'd hurry as I'm not too sure when it will be gone. I do know a few products such as the lipsticks are out of stock which is a shame. I tend to be that person that always misses out on the new collections but this time I was on time and managed to bag myself some goodies!
Did you try any of the products from Ellie's line? Let me know in the comments!

Gwen Stefani Urban Decay Limited Edition Palette!
I have always loved Urban Decay for eye shadows they're always so pigmented and are so easy to work with. I have an undying love for my Naked palettes which are an essential in my make up collection. But when I saw the Gwen Stefani palette and it immediately caught my eye from the colours which have been put in this palette are all golds, nudes and browns which are my go to colours with two colours which are perfect for a pop of colour.
The packaging for this palette is amazing! You can feel the quality in it with it having a magnetic lock on it and the metal casing for it. You can tell this is Gwen Stefani's from the style of it from them being inspired from her love of black and white graphic prints and antique gold accents which really does reflect in this packaging. You can tell that your money is well spent and that it has been made really well. I managed to pick mine up from FeelUnique during the Black Friday Sales for only £36! This palettes price is £40 which for some people it is pretty expensive but again you pay for what you receive which you definitely won't be disappointed in this purchase!
So let's have a look at the palette...
The shades in this palette are creamy with a velvet texture to them aswell as being easy to apply, you can really build up the colour to get either a intense colour or just a subtle shade of colour. These eyeshadows really relate to Gwen Stefani's looks as she usually does go for a nude eye and sometimes a pop of colour which explains the pink and blue which are in the palette. Three of the shades in this palette are from Urban Decay's Collection and the other 12 are brand new. There is quite a mix up in the shades from some being matte and some being shimmery. All the colours work well together so you can either create day looks and then simply darken these up with the darker colours to make it a night look. The pictures don't do the palette any justice on how amazing these shades are.

I would definitely recommend this to anyone that is even considering buying it because with it only being limited edition you don't want to miss out and then regret not getting it because I know I would if I didn't get it. Want to grab one for yourself? Check it out here.
Have you tried the Gwen Stefani palette? Are you thinking of getting it? Let me know in the comments!

December GlossyBox Rose Gold Edition!
Sorry that I haven't been really active the past week but I have been really busy at work and been suffering a lot with my tooth, I honestly didn't think a wisdom tooth would hurt this much but hopefully I will have it sorted tomorrow. Anyway lets move on to the more important thing here my December Glossy Box.
This month's box was a collaboration with Really Ree who brought out the Rose Gold Edit of GlossyBox. The design of the box this month is just gorgeous it's rose gold with white detailing which gives off the effect of snow. The front and back of the box has two phrases which are ' Let's Celebrate' and ' Let It Snow' which are also rose gold to go with the box. It is definitely one of my favourites by far, more for the fact I do love rose gold hahaha!
Etre Belle Golden Skin Caviar Eye Roll On £30.66 - I have never heard of the Etre Belle brand, but you can tell straight away that it is a pretty high end brand from the packaging but also in the price. This eye roll on is to help keep your delicate skin hydrated which will help when it comes to people who look a little tired. I have yet to use this product but I personally never see any difference in any eye products I use maybe I might be using them wrong. This was a travel size product.

Collection Long Lasting Nail Effects £2.99 - the picture doesn't do the colour of this nail varnish any justice it is a deep purple colour with blue glitter mixed in with it. This shade is the perfect Christmas shade to me even though I am not really a nail polish fan because I just can't do my nails without them looking a mess. But this is definitely something I would wear over Christmas or at a Christmas party. This was a full size product.

Essence Liquid Lipstick in Show Off £2.50 - another product which is ideal for Christmas with it being a bright red/pink shade - making it the perfect shade for the festive period. It has the coverage of a lipstick with the shine of a lip gloss which is amazing so you don't have to carry so many products around with you. The applicator is a doe-foot which makes it easy to have full control when it comes to lining your lips. I have never tried any Essence products before so I am quite excited to try this. This was a full size product.
Starskin Bio-Cellulose Second Skin Mask £8.50 - this was the 6th gift which came in the GlossyBox, there is 4 different types of masks which all do different things - the one I received was the calming mask which is soaked in vitamin packed serum which is going to help your skin during the festive period because everyone wears a lot more make up over this time of year from all the parties. I love coconut and I love a face mask so this is perfect for me as it has a coconut scent to the mask. I am excited to try out this face mask as I think I am really going to like it. This was a full size product.
Usually you only get 5 products but this month you got 6 just as a little gift from them with it being Christmas. I am excited to try all of these products out and there is none that I dislike or don't think I will like. This box is definitely suited to the festive period helping with both getting glam to looking after your skin.
Did you like your Glossy Box this month? Have you tried any of these products? Let me know in the comments!

GlossyBox - November Edition!
If you have read my past posts you might know I subscribed to a few beauty boxes, GlossyBox is another box which I subscribed to the other month, I have heard a lot about the products which GlossyBox send out with them being either well known or upcoming brands. GlossyBox is partners with a lot of brands which many people have heard of which is an added bonus.
What you get in the box;
Eylure Natural Lashes - when I saw these in the package it was a coincidence because later that day I had been talking to my friend about false eyelashes and how I have ever really tried them out, but obviously I didn't want to spend the money on something like that if I wasn't going to like them and it be a waste of money. So I am definitely looking forward to trying these out! These were a full size product. RRP £5.
Emite Diamond Heart Primer - when I saw this primer I got the impression that it would be a high end product from the packaging. On the leaflet you get with the products it says that the primer is used to balance out skin tone, boost radiance and gives a smooth finish which all primers do. I am looking forward to trying this out as I have mentioned before that I like to try out new primers to try and find the best one for me. This was a trial size product. RRP £25.90.
Revlon Super Lustrous Lipstick - The shade I got in my package was '415 - Pink in the Afternoon ' it is a nice pinkey shade and it is definitely a shade I would wear, it is very moisturising so it doesn't dry your lips out with a high shine gloss. The lipstick is infused with Vitamin E and Avocado Oil which makes it moisturising. This was a full size product. RRP £7.99.
Royal Apothic Body Lotion - I have never bothered with body lotions because I can never have the energy to put them on, this smells really nice though and I have yet to use this item. This should be used when you have damp skin so it seals in moisture. Lactic Acid is in this lotion to help keep skin moisturised during the cold winter months. This was a travel size product. RRP £14.50.
MUA Eyeshadow Palette - The shades in this palette are the perfect nudes/gold and browns with a range of matte colours and shimmery colours. With this palette it is a good multi use on the go palette as you can change from a day to a night look by just adding a darker colour or a bit of shimmer. I have used MUA before and they have really good pigmented eyeshadows. They are a drugstore brand so they're fairly cheap and affordable for everyone. I think I will get a lot of use out of this palette. This was a full size product. RRP £4.
Overall I personally prefer GlossyBox over YouBeauty. Yes GlossyBox is more expensive with it being £10 a month, but I feel that the products you get are worth the money. Obviously some of the products you get in the YouBeauty boxes are good I just personally prefer GlossyBox.
What did you think to the GlossyBox this month?
Until Next Time.
